Who this is
Mission Built makes MissionStack. This page is the whole policy.
MissionStack is the iPad and Mac app for planning your training, and it runs the gym board. It is made by Mission Built LLC ("Mission Built"), a Pennsylvania limited liability company in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. There is no parent company, no subsidiary and no partner with access to your data.
On your iPad or Mac
No account, and nothing sent to Mission Built.
MissionStack has no sign-up, no login and no password, and never asks for your name, email address or phone number. The app makes no request to Mission Built's servers or anyone else's. There is no Stack AI in it, no usage data, no advertising identifier, and no third-party software kit.
Your plan, its workouts, and your settings, such as appearance and voice cues, are saved inside MissionStack on this iPad or Mac. Those files are included in your iCloud or computer backup the way any app's data is; Mission Built has no access to your backups.
This version doesn't sync. MissionStack itself sends nothing to iCloud. Your device backup and any export you save there are yours. If that changes, this page changes first.
The board
It works only on your Wi-Fi.
Local network only
Between this device and the phones you let in.
The board shows a workout from an iPhone on the same Wi-Fi. iPhone and iPad ask for permission to use the local network, and the board uses it only after you say yes. Apple TV doesn't ask: there, the board uses the local network only while the board is open, and stops when you close it or leave the app. On a Mac, the board uses it only after you say yes where the Mac asks, and keeps using it while the board is open, even minimised or behind another app, until you close it or quit the app. The link between the phone and the board is encrypted with a key from the code on the board's screen, nothing passes through the internet, and nothing reaches Mission Built. The board announces itself on the network under a random name, never yours.
On your own, everything your phone sends is on the screen for the room: the workout, each set with its weight, and the name your phone sent. The phone also sends the clock voice you picked in IronStack, Male or Female, and the board speaks in it. Never your age.
Phones the board remembers. If you turn on Remember this iPhone when you pair, the board keeps the name the phone sent, a pairing key and the date it last joined, on this iPad, Mac or Apple TV. They stay after you delete the app. Delete all data, or Settings › Board › Forget all phones, clears them. On Apple TV, use Forget all phones on the board's home screen. To forget one phone, open the board and choose Pair iPhone: each remembered phone has Forget this iPhone, beside Forget all phones.
Delete all IronStack data on your iPhone can't reach someone else's board. If your phone is remembered there, the board's owner has to forget it.
Team lifts
Team lifts aren't in this version. When they come, this page says what they share first.
If you scan the board's code with the Camera
The code is meant for IronStack. With an IronStack update that can pair with the board, the Camera usually hands the code straight to IronStack and nothing goes to the site. Otherwise, the Camera opens a page on missionbuilt.io. Cloudflare, which runs the site, handles that request like any visit and sees your phone's network address, but never the code's secret part: that part never leaves your phone. Mission Built adds no analytics to the site.
How long
What is kept, and for how long.
Your plan and settingsOn this iPad or Mac until you delete them, or delete the app. Included in your device backup like any other app data.
Phones the board remembersThe name each phone sent, a pairing key and the date it last joined, in this device's Keychain (iPad, Mac or Apple TV). They stay after you delete the app. Delete all data, or Settings › Board › Forget all phones, clears them; on Apple TV, Forget all phones on the board's home screen. To forget one phone, open the board and choose Pair iPhone: each remembered phone has Forget this iPhone, beside Forget all phones.
The board on your ownHeld in memory only, with the clock voice your phone sent. Gone when its celebration closes, when you close the board, or 45 minutes after the phone goes quiet.
Anything on Mission Built's serversNothing. MissionStack doesn't talk to them.
Your data
Export it, or delete it, from Settings.
Settings › Your data › Export saves your plan and your settings for appearance and units to a file you keep. Settings › Your data › Import brings that file back. It replaces the plan and those settings on this iPad or Mac, and shows you what it replaces before anything changes.
Settings › Your data › Delete all data closes the board, forgets every phone the board remembers, and removes every file and setting MissionStack keeps on this device. It doesn't reach an export you saved elsewhere, or a backup already made. If something couldn't be deleted, the app says so, and Settings › Board › Forget all phones clears it.
Deleting the app is not the same. On an iPad, deleting the app removes your plan and settings. On a Mac, its files can stay behind. Either way, phones the board remembers stay in the Keychain. Run Delete all data first.
Anything else about your data, email [email protected]. Mission Built will confirm within ten days and finish within thirty.
Your rights
Wherever you are, the same answer.
Mission Built holds nothing about you from MissionStack. You can still ask, at the address above, and you will not be treated differently for asking. If you are in the EU, the EEA or the UK you may complain to your supervisory authority. Under California law, Mission Built does not sell or share personal information.
Age
MissionStack is for adults, 18 and over. The app doesn't ask your age.
Apple
Apple's own privacy terms cover TestFlight, the App Store, and your device backups. A rating or review you leave goes to Apple under Apple's terms. A written review is public on the App Store, where Mission Built can read it and reply. The App Store privacy label for MissionStack says Data Not Collected.
Changes
This page changes when the app does.
If what the app keeps or shares changes, this page changes first, with a new effective date at the top. A change that widens what leaves your device will be asked about in the app before it applies to you. Effective October 20, 2026.
