What changed

Stack AI

• Coach is now called Stack AI: the tab, Ask Stack AI, its cards, the tips, Settings and the badges. Your conversation, your details and this month’s allowance carry over. “Coach” now means a person: bring in your coach’s plan the same way as before, and Stack AI reads it for you.
• Stack AI is off until you turn it on. One screen says what goes to Anthropic, what never does, and what happens to it, and asks; it comes up by itself the first time anything would be sent, and “Ideas for this meal”, “Ask Stack AI for a plan” and “Ask Stack AI about this stack” wait for it too. If you had Stack AI on, you’ll see it once. Settings › Stack AI has the switch, what it has cost this month, and that same screen to read again.
• When you tell Stack AI what you’re having instead of a meal (“just the bottle”), the first card is exactly that, with what it misses by. Its ideas for getting closer come after.
• Those cards no longer say what they miss by in their own words, which could be wrong. The “Against the plan” line at the bottom of each card, worked out from its numbers, says it.
• Stack AI says it’s an AI and can be wrong under every chat, and its replies are labelled. Tap that line to see what it sends, and to whom.

With IronStack

• While an IronStack workout is live, MealStack’s card on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island steps back so IronStack’s clock leads. It comes back after the workout.
• Home and away use IronStack’s Counts as away distance, so the two apps agree when you travel. MealStack used to judge away at 100 km, and the apps could flip each other’s switch. Changing or forgetting home here forgets IronStack’s name for it too.
• Where MealStack talks about your training in IronStack, it says workout, as IronStack now does: “IronStack moved today’s workout”, the Stacks badges and the IronStack switch in Settings. MealStack’s own session time is unchanged.

Today

• Change on a meal, and Swap for another meal, open every time. A sheet left behind could swallow them, so Change sometimes did nothing.
